Forge48
Individual Intensive · Summer/Early Autumn 2026 · Slovenian Alps
The clarity you’re looking for
doesn’t come from thinking more.
It comes from moving.
You’ve done the thinking. You’ve made the plans. Something keeps you from moving. Forge48 is a 48-hour mountain intensive that creates the state shift you’ve been trying to think your way into. When the body is challenged, the noise drops. What matters becomes undeniable. You leave not with a new plan, but with something truly yours already started in the world.
Led by Borut Jeglič & Matjaž Macuh · Small Cohort · Slovenian Alps
See what Forge48 looks like from the inside.
Thinking About It
Hasn’t Closed It.
You’ve been successful enough that the gap between where you are and where you want to be isn’t a knowledge gap. You know what to do. You know what you want. But something keeps you from moving.
Maybe it’s the friction of maintaining a life that no longer fits. Maybe it’s the risk of a decision that can’t be undone. Maybe it’s simply the accumulated weight of being competent at things that no longer excite you.
The problem isn’t information. It isn’t strategy. It’s that the level of thinking that got you here cannot solve the problem of where you go next. You need a different kind of access.
Creation = Presence
× (e)motion.
The Equation Behind Forge48
Most leaders who’ve plateaued aren’t missing information. They’re missing one of two things: the quiet to actually hear themselves, or the aliveness to act on what they hear. Forge48 is built to restore both. In sequence.
The first day, the first three or four hikes, is devoted entirely to presence. Moving through mountain terrain, tired and cold, the noise of your normal mental environment becomes too expensive to maintain. Performance pressure, reactive thinking, the identity you’ve been maintaining. It all falls quiet. What comes forward is your actual voice.
The second day shifts. Once presence is restored, something else wakes up: (e)motion, energy in motion. The aliveness that makes you want to commit to something, build something, move toward something real. The coaching sessions turn from inquiry to creation. Not planning. Starting. The mountain creates the presence. The coaching makes it move. What you build from there is yours.
By the End,
You’ll Have Something Real.
Forge48 is a 48-hour intensive in the Slovenian mountains plus a 6-week creation sprint. You won’t just plan. You’ll start. You’ll launch. You’ll put something real into the world.
- Started what’s actually yours – not planned it, started it, with witnesses
- Proven you can still do hard things – completed something genuinely challenging
- Learned to move through discomfort – you won’t mistake “hard” for “wrong”
- A cohort who knows your truth – fellow creators who will hold you to it
- Clarity on what’s yours – versus what you inherited or absorbed from others
Six weeks later: The chapter published. The MVP built. The transition made. The first client secured. The thing you’ve been postponing, done.
The question won’t be “Can I build something of my own?” It will be “What’s next?”
What Forge48
Actually Is.
The Intensive
Seven hikes over 48 continuous hours. You start Sunday evening with a cohort of no more than 5 people. You hike through night and day: midnight ascents, dawn climbs, midday challenges. The terrain is the Slovenian Alps. The structure is intentional.
The Coaching Sessions
After each hike, the cohort reconvenes for facilitated coaching. Borut leads these sessions. The work is specific to what surfaced during the physical challenge: the resistance, the clarity, the decisions that became visible when your body had nothing left to hide behind.
The Cohort
Maximum 5 participants. Intentionally small. The group becomes a resource. Not because you’re doing group therapy, but because witnessing other high-performers navigating their own edge is itself a mirror. You see yourself more clearly when you see others clearly.
The Creation
Forge48 doesn’t end with clarity. It ends with something real. On the final afternoon, before you leave the mountain, you create: a first version, a real decision, a thing that now exists in the world. Not planned. Started. This is what comes out of who you truly are when the noise is finally gone. You don’t go home to think about what you’ll do. You leave with something that is already, unmistakably yours.
The 6-Week Sprint
The intensive ends Wednesday morning. The work continues. Six weeks of structured support: 3 group coaching sessions and 3 individual coaching sessions to take what you started on the mountain all the way to launch. You end the sprint with something tangible created and in the world. A startup page. A business plan. A book outline. A client presentation. Something real.
This isn’t a place to relax, journal, and return home feeling inspired but unchanged.
“It’s a container for decisive action. You leave with something built, not just something realized.”
This isn’t a room where you collect frameworks, fill notebooks, and leave with a new methodology to add to your shelf.
“The work is about building from who you actually are, not borrowing from a template that doesn’t fit.”
This isn’t about networking, benchmarking what’s working for others, or leaving with a sharper version of the plans you arrived with.
“The physical challenge is a tool. The point is creation. You leave with something real already started — something unmistakably yours.”
Five spots. Serious candidates only. If you’re not sure, start with a discovery conversation.
“The people who get the most from this already know they need it. They’ve known for a while.”
Slovenia.
A Premium Setting.
For Serious Work.
The location for Forge48 is a premium mountain setting in Slovenia, chosen not just for its terrain, but for everything it provides between the hikes. Your own private space to recover in silence. Great food designed to fuel both body and mind. All the amenities you need for comfort and proper recovery between efforts. Comfort enough to rest, not enough to hide.
The hiking routes leave directly from the venue. You won’t be moving between locations. The container is tight, purposeful, and genuinely beautiful. The Slovenian Alps are among the most dramatic mountain terrain in Europe, and we use them deliberately, because the environment itself is part of the design.
Every hike is different. The midnight ascent challenges your relationship with fear and the unknown. The dawn climb rewards persistence. The final hike comes when your body has very little left. That’s exactly when the most important work happens.
Forge48 Is Designed
For a Specific Person.
Forge48 isn’t for everyone. It’s designed for a specific person at a specific moment.
- You’ve built things – delivered outcomes, made impact. You’re capable.
- You want something truly yours – aligned with who you actually are.
- You’re willing to be challenged – physically and emotionally.
- You’re done with plans in notebooks – you need to ship something real.
- You’re sick of waiting – not doing this is no longer an option.
- You want comfort – this isn’t a spa retreat.
- You want someone else to do it – you do the work here.
- You want frameworks and theory – this is about building, not learning.
- You can’t commit to 6 weeks – the sprint is required.
- You want a quick fix – real creation takes sustained effort.
The bottom line: Forge48 works for people ready to stop postponing and start creating what’s actually theirs.

What Happens
After.
Borut is a rock to lean on in the coaching process. Someone that walks by your side come rain, come shine. Someone you can trust. If you are looking for a sparring partner that helps you get to your goal with immense expertise, humor and patience, Borut is the one.
A master of asking questions that make you think and reflect. He’s been an important support in this growth process, and I can wholeheartedly recommend him as a coach.
He doesn’t simply facilitate a process, he guides transformation. Through his insight and empathy, he helps people move beyond barriers and discover what it means to become their best and most authentic self. Working with Borut is both inspiring and transformative.
The People
Who Hold the Container
Borut
Jeglič
Lead Coach & Creator of Forge48
10+ years guiding leaders through transformation. Trained nearly 100 coaches. Built four companies. Coached hundreds of executives at top regional companies.
I know the gap between external success and internal alignment because I lived it. In 2024, running a successful coaching company, I hit a wall. Everything looked right. Inside, I was stuck.
Thinking didn’t help. Planning didn’t help. So I stopped both. I left my company. Took a six-month sabbatical to find out who I actually am.
The culmination came in September 2025. I hiked Planina (450 metres of elevation) eight times in 48 hours. Every six hours. Midnight. Morning. Midday. Evening. Repeat.
On the seventh ascent, exhausted enough to finally be honest, everything became clear. I spent the descent voice-recording what would become Misogi Works.
The breakthrough didn’t come from another strategy session. It came from physical challenge, nature, and the kind of exhaustion that bypasses defences.
Forge48 is the structured version of what I discovered on that mountain. I guide it because I’ve been through it, and because I’ve spent a decade helping others do the hard work of real change.
Matjaž
Macuh
Nutritionist & Physical Training Lead
Matjaž brings 15+ years of experience in sports nutrition and physical training. His role is not to turn you into an athlete. It’s to ensure your body and mind are in an optimal state for insight and creation throughout the 48 hours.
He designs and co-leads the physical challenges, adapting in real-time to each participant’s needs and condition. Matjaž is not a drill sergeant. He is your domestique: the indispensable team rider in cycling whose core role is to help their captain achieve the best possible result.
Matjaž is present throughout the entire experience for individual consultation, nutrition guidance, and real-time adaptation. He ensures we always operate at the edge of challenge without crossing into breakdown, a fine line that enables growth without resulting in collapse.
Common Questions.
You need to be able to hike for a couple of hours at a time. You don’t need to be an athlete. We have different routes planned for different abilities and adapt in real time to whatever is needed. Most of the challenge is mental, not physical.
Yes. Forge48 is for leaders at any level: executives, entrepreneurs, senior leaders in organizations. The work is about your life and decisions, not your job title.
Borut leads facilitated group coaching after each hike. The sessions work with what surfaced during the challenge: the resistance, the realizations, the decisions that became visible. It’s not therapy and it’s not advice. It’s deep work.
No. Most participants are successful, high-performing people at a genuine crossroads, not people in crisis. Forge48 is for the moment when you know something has to shift, not necessarily when everything is falling apart.
Forge48 is for executives, entrepreneurs, and leaders. The Coaches Edition is specifically designed for coaching professionals and addresses the unique challenges of building a coaching practice. The mountain experience is similar; the coaching content is different.
Because your stuckness isn’t cognitive. It’s stored in your body.
Every approach you’ve tried — therapy, coaching, books, journaling — was designed for your mind. But the nervous system physically stores unprocessed experience. Decades of overridden signals, performed-through discomfort, and swallowed truths live in your tissue.
Physical challenge accesses that system. Not because it’s hard, but because genuine difficulty quiets the mental defences that keep the truth at bay. For people who’ve built their identity on doing hard things, voluntary challenge is the door.
That’s common. Often the “not knowing” is itself the pattern. Waiting for clarity before acting.
Forge48 flips that. Clarity comes through the doing, not before it. The physical challenge and coaching surface what you already know but haven’t been able to access. Most participants arrive with a vague sense and leave with specificity.
You create something concrete during the intensive and continue building it through the 6-week sprint. Implementation isn’t left to chance. The group coaching sessions and individual sessions are built into the design to maintain momentum and catch you when old patterns try to pull you back.
Cohorts are intentionally diverse: entrepreneurs, executives, leaders at various stages. Different ages, backgrounds, industries. What you share with them: readiness to create, appetite for challenge, and the commitment to actually finish what you start.
The intensive itself runs Sunday evening to Wednesday morning. The 6-week sprint integrates with your existing schedule through weekly sessions. Most participants continue their day-to-day work throughout.
Start with a discovery conversation. If it’s a fit, you’ll receive an application. If accepted, you confirm your spot with a deposit.
Book a Conversation
Schedule a real conversation about where you are, what you’re building, and whether Forge48 is the right container for you right now.
Book now →We Explore Fit
If we both see alignment, we’ll go deeper on the details: your situation, what you want to build, and whether the timing is right. This is a real dialogue, not a pitch.
Decide Together
If it’s the right fit on both sides, you’ll receive an invitation to join the cohort. Spots are limited. This work requires real attention from everyone in the room.
