48 hours in the Slovenian mountains. A small group of up to six. Hiking, real conversations, deep coaching, time and space to think clearly. An intentionally designed integration to bring what you find back into your life.

The mountains aren’t the point. They’re just tools to help you see clearer and make your next move.

When you step out of your everyday for two days, the noise drops. The calendar stops running you. The familiar voices in your head go quieter. You can see the shape of the life you’re actually living, instead of being inside it.

From there, real questions surface. The ones you’ve been working hard not to ask. The ones you can’t hear at your desk. The signal becomes honest. And honest is where useful starts.

You don’t go home with a plan. You go home with something more useful: clarity on what matters for you, and a move you’ve already started. Something that lives in the real world.

Walking in the Slovenian mountains

The body moves first.
Then the mind catches up.

Walking multiple times a day on real trails does something a notebook can’t. The usual stories lose their edge. The defenses soften. The questions you’ve been avoiding get a little easier to actually look at.

That’s the part of Forge48 you can’t plan in advance. Movement opens the door. The truth walks through it. The clarity comes after.

02 What 48 Hours Look Like

Three days.
Seven hikes.

Day 1 · Arrive & reset

Step out of the noise.

You arrive at a premium location in the afternoon. All the comforts but above the daily life. Small cohort of people like you. You get settled, time starts slowing down. Orientation session. You eat dinner and get to know other participants. Then it’s rest time.

First walk starts at midnight. The purpose of this is to get you out of your usual rhythm. Easy pace, no rush, focus on being present. Time to reflect on your life.

When you come back, you are guided into relaxation. Then you sleep.

Day 2 · Going deeper

See your life from a different perspective.

You wake up early and go for another hike with the group. This time the sun is rising. You go from darkness to light. Then coaching and deep conversations. Rest. Journaling. Good food.

Another hike. More coaching and good food. One more hike in the evening. Rest. By now, your body is starting to get used to repetitive hiking and knows what to do. It’s not easy, but people describe these moments as the most present and calm they’ve ever been.

Day 3 · Play & creativity

From presence to playful creation.

Another midnight hike. Some more rest and again a sunrise hike. This time it feels different. It’s more playful. More conversations. You’re starting to get more creative. Problems that seemed impossible now feel like another hike — you can do them.

After the last hike you go into creative mode. You pick a spot out in nature or your private room and create something that has been living inside you but you now actually hear. A business plan, a conversation, a letter, a book. Something that starts its life in the real world.

03 The Six Weeks After

The 48 hours start the move.
The six weeks make it real.

This is where most retreats fall short. By the time you’ve slept twice in your own bed, the clarity fades. The momentum dissolves into the inbox and the calendar. Whatever you saw on the mountain becomes another notebook entry.

Forge48 is built so that doesn’t happen.

The 48 hours are designed to start a real move. The six weeks afterwards are designed to keep building on it, week by week, until what you started actually lives in your life. Not as a journal entry. As something visible, something underway, something that’s changing how you spend your days.

This is an integral part of the program. It’s where the work you started on the mountain turns into a creation that brings you closer to the life you actually want to live.
